Holly Burson
After a car accident in 1985 left me a quadriplegic I was unable to do the artwork I loved so much before my injury. Years later I discovered the computer and graphic art programs that could assist me. Only having the ability to use one hand, I am now able to create the work I mentally visualize and bring it to life. I have visited the original hospital where I received my rehab, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, and have shared my art with the staff and other patients. Santa Clara Valley Medical Center has displayed some of my pieces. I hope this work is an inspiration to others and a vision of what patients can accomplish post injury.
